Alpha702 • 2 yr. ago. Its an issue with the Dolby surround sound settings. Go into your audio settings on your PC or console and change your sound to stereo. Then I tried far cry 4 and most of it was completely uninterrupted with no problems, at best during one combat segment the game’s music seemed to just stop. It only says 16 bit 48000, and 19 bit 44100. If there is anyone that understands this issue please let me know. Try lowering the volume to half through the system tray and increase the volume on your headphones/speakers to compensate. It sounds like your PC's audio signal is too loud for your audio receiver to handle. Try right clicking far cry 3 in steam, click on properties, click on set launch options, and add that in and click ok, then try to launch far cry 3 through steam and enter your key into uplay. I've completed Far Cry 3 twice before without fault, but now on my third play through I'm experiencing audio issues. I have the game on disc. I can only hear certain background sounds (footsteps, drumming, some npcs, engines) and the music. I can't hear character voices, gun fire or animals at all. 1td8t.
