Most of the spoilers that were released before the game was launched were fake or at least manipulations of the things that actually happen in the game. From the things you mention some are true but most are not The game is totally worth it if you like action/adventure games with good story, and even more if you played and liked the first one
There's even a whole subreddit of people who appearently don't have anything more worthwhile in their lives than to still post daily hate threads about it, 1 1/2 years after release. The same mentality as a toxic ex partner who won't stop talking shit about you when your relationship's been over for a long time and everyone's moved on long ago.
And its for those reasons that I can state I have never played a game as bad as the last of us part 2, and I do not think I ever will ever play a worse game, because to suck harder than TLoU2, you'd need a 10/10 GotY that is founded on a solid story to be released, then have a sequel released that undermined and corroded the original story
